The turbulent Greek monarchy celebrated its centenary in 1963 with a series of five stamps portraying the kings of the Danish dynasty; George I, Constantine I, Alexander, George II and Paul.
No mention was made of the Bavarian king Otto, deposed in 1863, though he appeared in the Royal family portrait definitive series of 1956-7.
