On March 18, 2014 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “International year of family farming”.
The UNO declared 2014 the International Year of Family Farming to recognise the importance of family farming in reducing poverty and improving global food security.
Farming in Belarus is one of the fastest growing sectors of the agrarian economics. On January 1, 2013 there were 2469 farms in Belarus (in the whole world there are more than 500 millions ones).
