Here are some photos of the Kingston, Ontario Post Office.

You should be able to locate the Post Office in the “Downtown” photograph, which was taken from the top of a multi-storey car park.

The Post Office is located in part of a large Federal Government building, which originally also contained a postal sorting and distribution centre, and various government offices.

The postal sorting centre was recently closed, due to the decline in the amount of items mailed. Our local mail is now trucked to Ottawa to be sorted, and then trucked back to Kingston for delivery. The standard (target) for delivery of a letter within Kingston is now two business days.
