These three blocks show the three issues commemorating Hitler’s 55th birthday. They were issued on April 20, 1944, for use in Poland, whilst still under German occupation. These stamps are inscribed “Generalgouvernement“.

Hello,
My name is Ashley Gage. An old family friend gave me a sheet of these stamps. The ones with ’12’ on them. I was wondering if they were of any value? If you could get back to me by email, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Ashley Gage
Hellow my name is carl, I have been collecting german stamps for over 33 years,
since the introduction of ebay many new mint stamps from the nazi era have be-
come available, this new form of world communication has enabled many collectors
to expand and obtain stamps that were once only available via specialist german
collectors, this period was a very important part of world history, that despite
arguments, must never be errased from the historic albums of collectors, at the
moment collectors have a window of opportunity to obtain the very best on the
market at the right prices, for those of us who enjoy history of that period
collecting stamps gives us a great in depth study of the period that cannot be
obtained through books, using the computor we are now able to travel into the
greater depths of the german war period and relish a deeper understanding of
this important period,I hope those of you who collect german, as I do, enjoy
this new found opportunity, a word of wise it may not last forever. Carl.
