In April H.M.Queen Elizabeth II will become the first reigning British monarch to reach the age of 90. With Queen Elizabeth‘s 90th birthday celebrations growing closer with each passing day, there is no doubt we will be seeing no shortage of special commemorative stamps becoming available.
Jersey Post issued 10 special stamps to celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The set of stamps features the Queen as a young child and with different members of her immediate family.
Ever since she was born in 1926, the Queen’s family has formed a strong support network for her, and to this day, family life remains very important and precious to Her Majesty.
As birthdays are often about the coming together of families at a time of celebration, the stamps feature photographs of Her Majesty the Queen in each decade of her life, together with her family members.
