Here is a splendid sepia-toned picture postcard depicting Sheffield Cathedral almost a century ago.
What is particularly interesting is the double-decker tram in the foreground. One would have to be well-rugged on the upper deck in winter!

It seems it doesn’t matter if you’re on lower or upper deck as both decks appear to have windows.
A lot more beautiful than the current monstrosity built after the second world!
