Previously called Kirkcaldy and District Philatelic Society when established in 1936, in the late 1990′s the Kirkcaldy Stamp and Postcard Club decided to change their name to make the club sound more appealing to collectors.
They started having meetings in the Rialto Cinema Tearoom on the High Street in 1936. Rialto is shown on the left of the postcard below. Meetings are in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland and include a loyal group of members of differing levels of philatelic knowledge, and are open for new members who wish to learn.
