Charles Leski Auctions was established in 1973 by Charles Leski. Philately was initially the focus of the company, but over time the company has expanded to other fields including Sporting Memorabilia, Coins and BankNotes, Automobilia, Cameras and Photography, Art and other collectibles. We have grown to now be one of Australia’s leading Philatelic, Sporting Memorabilia and Collectibles Auction Houses. We conduct approximately twenty-two auctions per year, each with average presale estimates of A$500,000.

Clients can attend each auction personally or place absentee bids. Our world-wide mailing list of over 4,000 attracts as many as five hundred bidders who participate in each auction. The auctions are conducted at our premises in Melbourne, Australia. We send our catalogues to all types of collectors, investors, dealers, other Auction Houses and a number of libraries, which subscribe to our catalogue for reference.

The company recently moved to new, larger architect designed premises in Hawthorn East, Melbourne, Australia in order to facilitate better storage and auction facilities as a result of an expanded client base and auction programme. Our consistently evolving website demonstrates the company’s commitment to e-commerce and can only improve trading on-line for our extensive Domestic and International clientele.
