Isle of Man Stamps & Coins are pleased to present a beautiful stamp in response to the SEPAC 2014 project theme of ‘Flowers’. This design, featuring hellebores, was originally part of our Winter Flora miniature sheet issued in January of this year. While the winters in the Isle of Man can often be cold, bleak and more than a little wet, this season also treats us to the wonderful array of Winter Flora our Island boasts.
Catherine James comments: ‘The hellebores, now far removed from the original green hellebore, the wild relative of the Christmas rose, yet still retaining – for me – a primeval aspect, despite the amazing colours and patterns.
What a designer is nature!’ Isle of Man Post Office is pleased to support the joint issue of 2014 SEPAC stamps with this exclusive single stamp, which is available in mint condition or Cancelled to Order. Our essential First Day Cover, postmarked with the first day of issue and our prized Presentation Pack, which includes a mint condition single stamp inside a four-sided mini-folder is also available.
